Miss Pre-Teen Hopkins County Crowned
HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (08/01/15) — The 12th Annual Miss Pre-Teen Hopkins County Fair Pageant took place on Friday evening in the Eddie Ballad Convention Center with 24 pre-teen beauties vying for the title as the crowd cheered them on.
They were judged in t-shirt/shorts, interview and evening gown, with interviews being completed off-stage prior to the t-shirt/shorts and evening gown competitions.
Kennedy Graycn Knight was crowned 2015 Miss Pre-Teen Hopkins County and will represent Hopkins County for the state title in October in Louisville.
Knight was sponsored by her parents Debbie and Chris Knight. She is 11 years old and will be attending James Madison Middle School.
First runner-up was Lauren Addie Crick with Mollie Allison P’Pool as second. The 2015 Miss Congeniality award went to Priya Danyele Homes.
Pageant coordinators were Alyssa Browning and Kathy Carver. Mistress of ceremonies was Pamela Hight-Todd and scoring was by Lori Oglesby, CPA.
A special “thank you” was given to the Hopkins County – Madisonville Fair Board and to Mark of Distinction for stage décor and queen’s bouquet, Barbara Yonts Photography and Dennis McDaniel Custom Video Taping.
