Brian Jones accepts 2011 Zone 1 Most Progressive Fair Award

Hopkins County Fair, Madisonville Kentucky:  On our recent trip to the Kentucky Association of Fairs and Horse Shows Convention in Louisville, KY, the Hopkins County Fair was recognized as the 2011 Zone 1 Most Progressive Fair runner-up.  This award is based on several criteria including increases in livestock entries, horse entries and food, crop and youth entries.  Thank you to everyone who helped the Hopkins County Fair receive this recognition.

As the 2011 Fair Manager, I’d like to thank everyone who made the 2011 Hopkins County Fair a success! 

 
It could not happen without the many volunteers who donate their time each year.  With the live music each night and the superstar characters, I hope you enjoyed seeing something a little different out on the Midway.  Plans are well underway for the 2012 fair including more new arena shows and midway entertainment.

Thanks again, Hopkins County, for a successful 2011 fair!  I will see you on July 24-28 for the 2012 Hopkins County Fair.
