Fair Opening

 

WHEREAS, Hopkins County Fair is an annual event held in Madisonville, Kentucky, and

WHEREAS, Hopkins County Fair will be celebrating over 100 years as it continues to offer family fun including, rides, games and concessions to all citizens of Hopkins County, and

WHEREAS, Hopkins County Fair competition exhibits include 4-H; Home Economics; Agriculture; and FFA, and

WHEREAS, Hopkins County Fair holds annual Beauty Pageants including the Miss Hopkins County and this year Hopkins County Fair will be crowning the 59^th Beauty Queen of Miss Hopkins County, other pageants include Miss Teen Hopkins County; Little Miss & Mister Hopkins County, Miss Pre-Teen Hopkins County and Baby Hopkins County, and

WHEREAS, Hopkins County Fair offers events which includes a Horse Show; Truck and Tractor Pulls; Motorcycle Stunt Show; Mud Run; and Talent Show.

NOW THEREFORE, in recognition of the Hopkins County Fair, the City of Madisonville and Hopkins County Fiscal Court proclaim July 23 - 27, 2013 as

HOPKINS COUNTY FAIR WEEK

And encourage the community at large to participate in the many activities.
