Fair Wins Multiple Awards

Hopkins County Fair wins big at the 2014 Kentucky Association of Fairs & Horse Shows annual conference.

The conference was held in Louisville January 16-18, 2014.  Several Fair Board members and volunteers were on hand to accept the awards.  Brian Jones was awarded the 2013 KAFHS Fair Person of the Year for his role in the Hopkins County Fair success.  The Hopkins County Fair also received first place out of 65 other fairs in the State for Best "Slick Cover" Fair Catalog and second in the State for Best Fair Website.

The Hopkins County Fair Board would like to thank Martha Jones and Carolyn Seibert for selling the catalog ads, Rick Owen with ShowNTell and Tom Gulley for producing the fair catalog and Karen and Jacob Lutz for designing the front cover.  Thank you to Karen Lutz for her contributions to the Hopkins County Fair Facebook page.

The success of the fair depends on many people who graciously give of their time to serve on the Fair Board, plan for the fair year long and with the help of many volunteers execute a top notch fair.
